Kennesaw McDonald's Hiring Today

Two separate events, hosted by the Georgia Department of Labor, will fill a number of jobs for McDonald's and another company.

The Georgia Department of Labor will help the Kennesaw McDonald’s at 4050 Jiles Rd. fill a number of jobs today.

From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., the restaurant will be hiring workers to operate grills, take orders from customers, operate cash registers, prepare menu items, stock supplies, perform cleaning and janitorial services, and provide building maintenance.

Applicants should dress professionally and have resumes ready at the interviews. Those selected will gain experience in the foundation of the restaurant business, including hospitality, customer service and production.

The pay is $7.25 an hour, plus benefits.

A second recruitment will help Blue Stream fill a number of jobs for cell tower ground technicians. It will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center at 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta.

Blue Stream provides planning, implementation and maintenance support for customers delivering voice, video and data over wireless, cable and enterprise network.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, at least a year of wireless/wire line experience, and be willing to achieve a safety and climbing certificate.

They must also be willing to attend Occupational Safety and Health Administration classes, read and interpret safety rules and regulations, and climb to various heights outside. Since travel is involved, applicants must have a driver’s license.

Salaries range from $15-$18 an hour, plus benefits. The company will perform background checks and drug testing on selected applicants.
