New Restaurant Comes to Downtown Kennesaw

BurgerFi is opening its doors on Wednesday, July 10, on South Main Street between the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History and Trackside Grill.

This is the third BurgerFi to open in the Atlanta area, with additional locations in Emory Point and Alpharetta.

The 90 plus-seat Kennesaw location gives guests both indoor and outdoor seating options and is the only restaurant location with an upstairs, open deck. The restaurant held its soft opening on July 1. 

“I am excited to bring the next BurgerFi restaurant to Kennesaw,” said Michael Diamond, franchise owner of the Kennesaw location. “We think the residents and students in the area will love the all-natural approach to our menu, and they can always expect the freshest food when dining with us.”

BurgerFi "has reinvented the burger with fresh, never frozen, all-natural Angus beef from cattle that are raised 100 percent antibiotic- and hormone-free."   

The made-to-order menu also includes a variety of specialty items like Wagyu Kobe beef hot dogs, hand-cut French fries and onion rings made daily, specialty toppings, frozen custards, natural cane sugar sodas, craft beer and wine and more. 

In addition to serving meat, the restaurants keeps vegetarians in mind by offering the VegeFi quinoa burger made from fresh, natural ingredients including lentils, mushrooms, zucchini and carrots. 

Specialty burgers include the B.A.D. (Breakfast All Day) burger with American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, a fried egg, hash browns, grilled diced onion and ketchup, and the brisket burger with double natural 28-day dry aged ground brisket, Swiss cheese, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and BurgerFi sauce. 

"The Atlanta area is a booming location for businesses, and Kennesaw was the next best place to open a BurgerFi franchise,” said Nick King, chief operating officer at BurgerFi International. “The restaurant brings a delicious and affordable ‘farm to table’ option to a variety of people, plus a dining experience unlike any other burger joint.”

BurgerFi is located at 2844 South Main Street in Kennesaw. 

The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
