A great friend of the city of Kennesaw and especially the Kennesaw Grand Prix Road Race Series, Kirk Childs, turns 60 today.
Kirk and his family own ORION Racing the sports timing company of the KGP. They also donate their services to the Swift Cantrell Park Kilometer Kids program and this year to the YWCA's Track or Treat.
To celebrate he has chosen a birthday party completely congruent with his lifestyle and belief system... he is attempting to run a 60K today at Swift Cantrell Park.
Head over to the park, encourage him and maybe even lace up your shoes and knock out a mile or two with him!
