Here's what you need to know in Kennesaw for August 24.

4. Start making your plans early for this weekend's in Kennesaw. Festival hours are Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Festival location is and the , located at 2753 Watts Drive. Both days will feature delicious smoke-cooked barbeque, tasty desserts, family fun and live entertainment -- with an exceptional fireworks grand finale. And admission is free.
