Cobb police received a call of shots fired at the Riverside House Apartments on Shadowood Parkway about 7:40 p.m., The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

A naked, armed man confronted officers outside an apartment, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce told WSB-TV.

β€œHe made an aggressive move toward those officers,” Pierce said on the Channel 2 Action News This Morning, and the officers opened fire.

The naked man died at the scene.
