Week in Review: Mom Killer Found Insane; Vaughn Williams Talks Football; Gunshots Fired in Kennesaw

– Justin Detrell Wilburn, a 27-year-old Kennesaw man who killed his mother in her Powder Springs home last year, was committed to a state mental hospital Monday after being found .

– Cobb County police that the man accused of setting his girlfriend on fire at a Kennesaw gas station was upset she was having dinner and drinks without him. Police said 25-year-old Morgan Yarbrough of Powder Springs accused then-girlfriend Rachel Brokaw of infidelity before dousing her with gasoline while she sat inside her car at the BP gas station.

– Gunshots were reportedly fired outside of L.A. Fitness club in Kennesaw Friday afternoon. An off-duty officer was leaving his personal workout at the Wade Green Road gym when he witnessed what appeared to be an exchange of gunfire between a gold Lexus and a silver Mercedes in the parking lot of the shopping center.
