The Kennesaw woman who reported the shooting of her husband March 7 is an . Melissa Marlowe, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after investigators found the drug in her home. However, Marlowe has not been charged in the shooting of her husband, who suffered multiple gun shot wounds.

Kennesaw State University is back after Timothy Chandler, who was offered the job last month, announced Thursday he would no longer be taking the position. Chandler came under fire for an academic paper he co-authored that has been characterized as Marxist and anti-American.
