KSU's Civil War Center presents: 1863 - Struggles East & West

Symposium on New Interpretations of the Civil War: '1863: Struggles East & West.' The Civil War Center at Kennesaw State University, in conjunction with the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, presents renowned Civil War historians Larry Daniel, Larry Hewitt, Richard McMurray, and Brian Wills on Saturday, March 23 at 9:00 a.m. Daniel will discuss 'The Western Theater - The Mistakes Made,' Hewitt will provide insights on 'Port Hudson: The most Photographed Battlefield of the Civil War,' McMurray will deliver a lecture entitled 'Getting Right With Gettysburg,' and Wills will share information on 'The Logic of Logistics: The Suffolk Campaign of 1863.' On Friday evening, March 22, musician Ross Moore will provide entertainment at the Marietta Museum of History beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to attend these special, free admission events.
