LEGOLAND Discovery Center Partners with Cooking Matters for Food Drive

LEGOLAND Discovery Center will be giving back to the community this Thanksgiving in partnership with Cooking Matters, a non-profit organization that teaches families the fundamentals for healthy nutrition cooking, and household budgeting in order to provide the best nourishment.


Visitors are encouraged to show their support by bringing nonperishable items for a food drive that will be held at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta  from November 17-23. By donating canned goods, guests will not only support the Cooking Matters organization, but they will also receive a special $2 discount on walk up admissions.


Preferred items for this holiday food drive include canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned beans, canned lean meat, whole grain rice or pasta, light cooking oils, as well as spices.

WHAT: LEGOLAND Discovery Center & Cooking Matters Food DriveLEGOLAND Discovery Center supports non-profit organization's goals in teaching adults, teens, and kids how to prepare nutritious and affordable meals for themselves and for their families.

WHEN: November 17-23
            Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
            Saturday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
            Sunday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
           **LEGOLAND Discovery Center will be open Thanksgiving Day from 12 – 7 p.m.

HOW:  Visitors may donate canned goods in the attraction’s admission area to receive $2 off the normal walk up rate. This promotion may not be combined with other discounts or ongoing events. Offer is not valid for online tickets.
