Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia (CACGA) will be hosting a daylong event focused on child abuse awareness and practices in the field of child welfare.
This will be the sixth year that CACGA has held the event. There will be a number of workshops that attendees can learn from, and student may receive continuing education credits.
Elizabeth Smart, whose harrowing story of kidnapping and survival touched the lives of many, will be the keynote speaker.
