Fall-O-Ween Fest & Outdoor Movie: Hotel Transylvania (PG)

For one night only, Swift-Cantrell Park will be transformed into "Spook-Central Park," the Fall-O-Ween capital of Kennesaw. Enjoy FREE and pay-to-play inflatables and a trackless train, carnival games, a Trick-or-Treat Trail, children's crafts, scarecrow displays, and handcarved, illuminated pumpkins.



Come dressed in your best Halloween digs for a chance to win some great prizes in a costume cont...est open to all ages -- and dogs too! Costume judging categories include: Cutest, Funniest, Scariest, Most Original, Most Heroic, Best Duo/Group, Best Canine, and Best Canine/Owner Dress-A-Like. One category winner and one runner-up will be selected from each age group, with the exception of the Duo/Group and Canine categories which will have one overall winner and one runner-up.



Costume Contest Start Times
5:00 p.m. - 0-4 years
5:20 p.m. - 5-8 years
5:40 p.m. - 9-12 years
6:00 p.m. - 13+ years, including adults
6:20 p.m. - Duo/Group
6:40 p.m. - Canine categories

Winners will be announced before the movie at approximately 7:15 p.m.



At 7:30 p.m., the City of Kennesaw's 2013 Outdoor Movie Series continues with a FREE screening of Hotel Transylvania. For your seating comfort, bring a blanket or low-back chairs. Pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others are not permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase. Parking is available inside the park and at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary School. The event may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions.

*** Jack-O-Lanterns Wanted! ***
Local businesses, schools, community groups and residents are invited to dropoff carved pumpkins at the park's picnic pavilions between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. on the day of the event. Jack-O-Lanterns will be judged by the public, and winners will be announced before the movie.
