The Kennesaw Citizens Advisory Committee has invited Representative Ed Setzler to address Cobb County’s current issues/opportunities and how they relate to Kennesaw. Ed Setzler is a businessperson, veteran and father of four who has served northwest Cobb County as a Georgia House of Representatives since 2005. Committed to the principles of personal freedom, free markets and constitutionally limited government, Ed currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Science & Technology and serves on the Judiciary Non-civil, Education, Transportation, Appropriations, and Rules committees. In addition to serving in the legislature, Ed is a leader in the architecture/engineering industry where he has directed nationwide design and business development programs for more than a decade. A graduate of the US Army Ranger School, Ed earned a BS in Physics from Furman University in 1992 and served as a US Army officer for nine years with leadership assignments in Europe, North Africa and the Persian Gulf.
