Town Center Goes Pink

The Pink Heals Tour is coming to Kennesaw this weekend in an effort to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Team Pink and The Guardians of the Ribbon are collaborating for the two-day event Saturday, April 2, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 3, from 12 to 6 p.m. at Town Center at Cobb.

The fundraiser will include live music, face painting, and a presentation by The Guardians of the Ribbon of their fleet of pink emergency vehicles, named for women who have died from cancer. The pink fire engines and police cruisers serve as memorials to these women and are adorned with over 35,000 signatures and inspirational messages.

The weekend's activities will take place at 400 Ernest Barrett Pkwy, outside of the mall's food court entrance. Proceeds will benefit Team Pink and The Guardians of the Ribbon for cancer research.
