Dinner 6pm, Live Concert 6:30pm, Silent Auction at Legacy Park Outdoor Bandstand featuring Yacht Rock Revue, a 60's, 70's & 80's Cover Band, to benefit three year old Leland Erickson from Marietta, who was diagnosed with AML, a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia at 8 months old.
Three year old Leland Erickson of Marietta has been fighting
a battle for his life for the past two years. At 8 months old, he was diagnosed with AML, a rare and aggressive form of
Leukemia. Leland is currently in remission, but his white blood cell count has yet to rebound from the strong chemo he received. As such, Leland does not have the ability to fight even mild infections, so even a common cold can be a deadly threat to this sweet little boy.
Leland is in the process of receiving treatment to help rebuild his immune system, at the cost upwards of $20,000 OUT OF POCKET. This is his last line of defense before bone marrow transplant, which is risky given his age and lack of donor match available at this time.
