Shredding Day for Cobb Residents

You can donate gently-worn shoes, too.

Is your home overrun with piles of outdated personal documents?

Purge all of those unwanted receipts, pay stubs and old bills next Saturday when Keep Cobb Beautiful hosts a free document shredding day and shoe collection in Northeast Cobb.

From 9 a.m. to noon March 16, drop off your household documents at Piedmont Baptist Church, 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta.

While there are no weight limits, Keep Cobb Beautiful will not accept large clips or binders.

In addition to household documents, residents may also donate gently-worn shoes. You must tie the shoelaces together or put a rubberband around the shoes to keep the pair as one.
