Starting today, you can take your tree to Noonday Creek Park in Kennesaw.

Christmas is over. What are you going to do with your Christmas tree?

Starting today, recycle it at selected Cobb County parks, including one location in Kennesaw.

According to Keep Cobb Beautiful, you can swing by the following locations until Jan. 5:

  • Noonday Creek Park, 489 Hawkins Store Rd., Kennesaw
  • Lost Mountain Park, 4845 Dallas Hwy., Powder Springs
  • Fullers Park, 3499 Robinson Rd., Marietta
  • Harrison Park, 2650 Shallowford Rd., Marietta
  • Sewell Park, 2085 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta

Kennesaw's two Home Depot locations are also participating in the Bring One for the Chipper recycling program, but only on Jan. 5. There's one location at 449 Roberts Court NW and another at 1655 Shiloh Rd.

For more information, contact the Keep Cobb Beautiful office at 770-528-1135 or keepcobbbeautiful@cobbcounty.org.

After Jan. 5, the Kennesaw Public Works Department will pick up trees placed at your curb by 7 a.m. Jan. 7.
