Setzler Honors Kennesaw's Thrash
He was cited for devoting innumerable hours of time and energy to the betterment of the community.
Kennesaw Councilmember Bill Thrash was recognized and commended on his outstanding accomplishments as a public servant in a House of Representatives Resolution presented by State Representative Ed Setzler during the April 1 meeting of the Kennesaw City Council.
Thrash’s distinguished record of service includes serving a Mayor Pro Tem, past president of the Cobb Municipal Association, and president of the 3rd district’s West Region of the Georgia Municipal Association. He was cited for devoting innumerable hours of time and energy to the betterment of the community, particularly in the area of encouraging teen and family initiatives and supporting the Police Department’s efforts to earn accreditation for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, which is awarded to only 5 percent of the agencies in the U.S.
