Cobb Contestants Shine at Miss Georgia Pageant

Five received awards.

The Miss Georgia pageant was held last weekend in Columbus, and five winners have Cobb County ties.

According to the Marietta Daily Journal, the following contestants received awards:

  • Miss Marietta’s Outstanding Teen, Kelly Hutchinson of Harrison High School, was named Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen and will represent the state in Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in August.
  • Miss Capital City’s Outstanding Teen, Anna Tucker of Acworth, was the fourth runner-up.
  • Miss Cobb County’s Outstanding Teen, Abby Quarles of Marietta, won the overall talent award.
  • Maggie Bridges, Miss Cobb County, was the third runner-up.
  • Marietta's Katherine McCauley, a student at Kennesaw State University, was a top 10 semi-finalist who won the overall talent award.
