Body Found in Kennesaw Pond
The 39-year-old man disappeared after working near the pond Thursday.
A Kennesaw man who went missing Thursday after working by a pond was found dead in that pond Friday around 5:45 p.m.
officers from the Crimes Against Persons Unit are investigating the death of Kevin Kataja, 39, according to a statement from police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce.
Kataja’s body was found in a garden pond by the home at 1445 Shiloh Trail East outside Kennesaw.

Foul play is not suspected, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said. But Pierce said the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken jurisdiction and will determine the cause and manner of death.
