A Marietta resident faces charges of possessing and distributing child pornography, and officials with Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit are asking for the public’s help to find children who may have had contact with the man.

Cobb Police in a news release Thursday announced the arrest of 46-year-old Todd Skrabanek. Authorities say an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation and search warrant led to the discovery that Skrabanek was in possession of child pornography and distributing it online.

Detectives also learned during their investigation that in the past, Skrabanek had worked throughout the metro Atlanta area giving music lessons to children.

Skrabanek has been a piano accompanist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and with the choir of the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Decatur, among numerous musical associations in the Atlanta area.

Skrabanek is being held without bond at the Cobb County Detention Center, charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.

Anyone with information on children who may have had contact with Skrabanek is asked to call Cobb Police at 770-801-3470.
