Cops: Kennesaw Woman Embezzled More Than $150K from Employer

Brooke Nicole Ceterski is in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.

The Canton Police Department has arrested a Kennesaw woman accused of embezzling more than $150,000 from her former employer.

Brooke Nicole Ceterski, 36, is being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $260,000 bond, Canton Police Lt. Jeff Tucker said.

She is charged with two counts of felony theft by taking.

"This arrest came as a result of a lengthy investigation and the assistance from Ceterski’s former employer who believed she had been stealing from the company," Tucker said in the news release. "Ceterski is alleged to have embezzled funds in excess of $150,000 from the business payroll."

Lock her up and throw away the key. These kinds of people with no regard for others belongings and property need not be allowed back in our society. I'm so sick of the courts giving these career criminals a slap on the wrist.

This is a former boss of mine. Pray for Brooke's daughter. I feel so sorry for her young daughter.
