Former KSU Dean Gets Probation

Yiping Wan was convicted of making false statements.

Yiping Wan, who once led the University's College of Education, was convicted of the crime and sentenced to five years on probation. Wan also was ordered to pay $3,930 in restitution and a $2,000 fine.

Wan was charged with misrepresenting the cost of airline tickets to the college between August 2005 and April 2006, pocketing $3,930 in reimbursed funds. Wan resigned from KSU in 2007.
