A 19-year-old Kennesaw State University student is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run driver struck her as she walked early Saturday morning near an Athens roadway.
Emily Bowman of Woodstock was walking in the grass when a 1997 red Mazda pick up truck traveling eastbound on Oak Street left the roadway, hit her, then fled the scene, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
