Kennesaw Clinic Under Investigation

After two patient deaths this year, the Cobb County Police Department is investigating a Chastain Road cosmetic surgery clinic.
"We are working two active deaths at" Opulence Aesthetic Medicine, Officer Mike Bowman told Patch this evening. "One incident that we are investigating occurred in February. The other incident that we are investigating occurred in June."
WSB-TV, which broke the story this evening, identified the patients as April Jenkins of Savannah and Erica Beaubrun of Miami.
Jenkins died after a February fat-transfer procedure and Beaubrun died after a June buttocks reduction procedure, according to the station.
