Kennesaw Man Killed, Three Arrested and Fourth Suspect at Large

Police have arrested three men in connection with the death of a man on Big Shanty Trail and are seeking a fourth suspect.

Cobb County police have arrested three men in connection with the death of a Kennesaw man, and are currently in pursuit of a fourth suspect.

On Thursday at 1:01 p.m., responders received a 911 call from a man who told them other men had forced their way into a house at 3128 Big Shanty Trail in northeast Cobb, and that shots had been fired, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce of the Cobb County police.

Pierce said public safety responders established a perimeter around the home and later found 25-year-old Hugo Bryant Hernandez dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Adam Montrell Gober, 21,Β  of Riverdale was apprehended "just east of the incident scene, running through a neighborhood," said Pierce.

A second man, 25-year-old Ramirez Morris of Atlanta, was apprehended by K-9 "Chip" in a creek bed west of the incident near interstate I-575. Morris sustained a bite from the canine and was treated for his injury before being transported to the Cobb County Jail, said Pierce.

A third man, Mack Rodney Bradham, 28, of Marietta, was later apprehended.

"The motive is still unclear in this, but they’re working the case, continuing to work the case," said Pierce.

"The big issue right here is apprehending that individual who is still at large,” he said, in regards to a fourth suspect who he said fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Big Shanty Trail.

Pierce described the man as a "thin black male in his late teens to early 20s" who was wearing shorts, a white tank top and a pink, polo-type shirt over it.

Investigators charged both Gober and Morris with felony murder and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.

Bradham was charged with false imprisonment, aggravated assault and felon with a firearm.

All three suspects have been processed and are being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Anyone with information on the incident or the fourth suspect, who is still at large, is asked to call 770-499-3945.
