Kennesaw Police Department Recruiting

The physical agility test is scheduled for Friday, June 22.

The is actively recruiting for Police and Detention with the first round of physical agility tests scheduled for Friday, June 22, at 6 a.m.

According to a message released by the department Thursday, the physical test is the first step in the hiring process. After the 22nd, the test will then be conducted every third Friday of each month at 6 a.m.

No applications will be given out prior to completion of the physical agility testing, and no appointment for testing is necessary. The department asks that candidates dress in appropriate attire for physical exercise and bring a photo ID. The testing will be conducted at the Bobby Grant Police Annex, located at 2934 Cherokee St., Kennesaw. The test consists of 29 sit-ups and 21 push-ups in one minute, sit and reach 17 inches, vertical jump 17 inches and a 300-meter run in 64 seconds.
