Loud Knocks Jolt Kennesaw Residents
David Gregory Villwock was arrested Saturday on a charge of loitering or prowling.
David Gregory Villwock, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant, just wanted to get home early Saturday morning.
He thought he'd made it to his destination in Roswell when he started knocking—loudly and continuously—on the door of a home just before 5 a.m. Saturday.
There was just one problem: He was in Kennesaw.

The loud banging jolted the residents, who did not know Villwock, awake.
Concerned for their well-being, they called police. One of the residents retrieved a shotgun and held Villwock at gunpoint until police arrived.

When an officer arrived, Villwock's eyes were bloodshot and watery, records show. His speech was slurred and he had difficulty maintaining his balance. The officer suspected he was under the influence of alcohol.
Though his speech was slurred, an officer was able to make out one thing.
"Said accused advised me that he was trying to get home and thought he was at home in Roswell."
Villwock was arrested Saturday on a charge of loitering or prowling and released from the Cobb County jail the same day after posting $1,000 bond.
