Cobb Parkway Reopens After Accident

At least one person has been transported to an area hospital with injuries described as critical.

The intersection of Cobb Parkway and McCollum Parkway, the site of this afternoon's "major accident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle," is now open, Kennesaw Police Sgt. Brice Barth said.

A major accident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle is causing heavy traffic delays at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and McCollum Parkway.

At least one person has been transported to an area hospital with injuries described as critical.

"Currently, northbound lanes are blocked," Kennesaw Police Sgt. Brice Barth said. "Expect extended delays while officers work the scene."
