Missing Kennesaw Man with Dementia, Parkinson's Found Safe

The Cobb County Police Department is looking for an 83-year-old Kennesaw man, who was last seen Tuesday on Westmoreland Drive.

Poteat was located in good condition at a Texaco Station off I-75.

The Cobb County Police Department is looking for a Kennesaw man who has dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

Charles William Poteat, 83, was last seen at his residence on Tuesday, Oct. 22, around noon in the 3900 block of Westmoreland Drive in Kennesaw, Cobb Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Dana Pierce said in a press release.

Poteat left is a white 1998 Toyota T100 pickup truck bearing a Georgia tag of PCW 2519, according to the release.

Poteat also suffers from leg and heart issues, according to the release.

Poteat was last seen wearing tan pants and a plaid shirt and is known to frequent hardware stores.
