What would have been a routine prostitution sting for the Smyrna Police Department resulted in the recovery of a stolen firearm and an assortment of illegal drugs at a Smyrna hotel.

According to an arrest warrant, Amanda Lee Causey, 28, of Rome was charged with theft of a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and various drug charges.

The warrant also stated that Causey’s accomplice Eathan Kuykendall, 35, of Acworth, received three charges of possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances, giving false information to a police officer and felon in possession of a firearm.

When 10-year-old Jenna Rohrbach took the field Wednesday night to sing the National Anthem at the Atlanta Braves' game against the San Francisco Giants, she was singing for her sister.

That's because her sister, Alexa, died from cancer three years ago at the age of 11. Tonight is Rally Night at Turner Field in honor of the Atlanta-based Rally Foundation, which raises money to research cures for childhood cancer. Six Rally Kids, who either have fought or are currently fighting cancer, were invited to the pre-game batting practice and the game as guests of the team.
