Decatur High Boosters Kiss Off Chick-fil-A

The Decatur High Bulldog Boosters (DBB) will not sell  products at concession stands during athletic events, but club leaders say it's not because the fast-food chain donates money to groups that oppose gay marriage.

Club leader Bill Ainslie said the booster club, which raises money for  and  school athletic programs, had talked about finding other vendors for several years.

Austell Man Charged with Impersonating Doctor, Treating 500 Patients

An Austell man pretended to be a visiting doctor in Columbia, SC, where he treated more than 500 senior patients, Lexington County deputies report.

Authorities arrested Ernest Addo of Austell Friday and charged with unlawfully practicing medicine,  He is being held at the Cobb County Detention Center.

House Fire Reported in Snellville

Firefighters spent Monday afternoon and evening on the scene of a working house fire on Lake Drive in Snellville. They used aerial ladder device and several handlines to control the blaze.

Crews found heavy smoke and flames showing from a two-story wood frame house on arrival.
