Nathan Deal on Wednesday announced that automotive industry supplier voestalpine Metal Forming, under its automotive body parts unit, will build a manufacturing facility in Cartersville, creating 220 jobs. The company, investing $62 million in this new facility, will be its first in the Southeast.

Hidden Camera Found at Acworth Salon
The arrested the landlord of a Northeast Cobb salon after evidence uncovered at another salon in Acworth owned by the man gave authorities cause to press charges.

Mark Allen Storch, 54, was arrested at the Acworth location of Salon Avenue Suites on Aug. 10. He has been charged on three counts of felony unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance. He is currently being held in the Cobb Adult Detention Center without bond.

Adult Entertainment Violations, Sales to Minors May Get Bar's License Revoked
The will consider revoking or otherwise sanctioning for being in recent violation of several of the City's ordinances, including selling alcohol to minors and violation of Adult Entertainment provisions.

Wrong Way Driver Causes Fatal Accident on Ga. 400
Zone 2 units responded to an accident at Ga. 400 north bound near Lennox Road.
A preliminary investigation showed a driver entering the freeway from Lennox Road traveling south bound in the north bound lanes. The wrong way driver collided head on with another vehicle that was traveling North on Ga. 400.

Zone 1 Officer Arrests Suspect in West End Mall Shooting
In a statement from the Atlanta Police Department, an officer stumbled upon Raemon Moore during a routine traffic stop and arrested him in connection with the July 17th murder at West End Mall.
