Police: Suspected DUI Driver Steers into Crash Scene
A Cartersville man early Sunday morning allegedly drove into the scene of an accident where injured motorists were being treated in the roadway by emergency medical crews.
Michael David Ledbetter, 28, of Brent Circle, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on a closed roadway. He allegedly drove into the area blocked off by a fire truck and traffic cones, trapping a cone under his red 1996 Chevy Camero. Several patients were lying in the roadway following a three-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 41 at Cassville Road in Cartersville, according to the incident report.

Jaywalking Mom Arrested on Eluding Police Charge
, who came into the national spotlight after , was arrested Friday by on four unrelated charges.
The Marietta resident was taken into custody in the 200 block of Giibbs Street, jail records show. The four charges, all misdemeanors, are fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, affixing of materials which reduce light transmission through windows or windshield, speeding, and expired/no tag.

Cobb Police Make Arrest in Salon Case
Cobb County police have arrested the owner of the Salon Avenue Suites and charged him with unlawful surveillance.
According to WSB-TV, police identified the landlord of the spa as Mark Allen Storch.

Earlier this week, Midtown Patch ran an article titled, Crossing at Peachtree & 13th Dangerous?The piece prompted several comments and e-mails from readers, including one from Gloria Gravitt Moulder of Temple, Ga. Moulder is the daughter of Hugh Dorsey Gravitt, who hit and killed Margaret Mitchell near the Midtown intersection on Aug. 11, 1949.
