Police Release Footage from Kennesaw Armed Robbery

The Diamonds R Forever on Wade Green Road was robbed Saturday morning.

The Cobb County Police Department this afternoon released surveillance images of the suspects wanted in connection with Saturday's armed robbery at a Kennesaw jewelry store.

Around 10:50 a.m. Saturday, three men walked into Diamonds R Forever and pointed handguns at the employees, said Officer Mike Bowman, the spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department.

As one of the suspects grabbed money from the cash register, the other two men smashed several of the display cases and took various pieces of jewelry, he said.

The trio, clad in hats and long-sleeved, button down shirts, fled the business and drove away in an unknown type of vehicle.

All of the suspects were black, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-8, slender and approximately 18 to 20 years old, Bowman said.
