A fatality crash occurred on I-75 southbound, just south of the Hickory Grove Road overpass in Kennesaw Saturday morning.

The driver of a white 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck was towing a utility trailer loaded with farm equipment southbound on I-75 in the slow lane of traffic, according to Cobb Police Public Information Officer Dana Pierce.

The driver of a silver 2002 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound in the lane next to the Chevrolet. The driver of the Ford failed to maintain her lane and sideswiped the Chevrolet truck causing it to veer off the eastern edge of the roadway where it overturned in the center median, Pierce said in a press release.
