From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., the Cobb County Department of Public Safety and other agencies will conduct "a full scale active shooter exercise," said Sgt. Dana Pierce, the spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department.

The exercise will force the department to shut down Ring Road, the road around Town Center, for the duration of the training.
