Search for Savannah Murder Suspect Expands to Cobb County

David Randy Daniels Jr. has been charged with the shooting deaths of two individuals in Savannah after a drug transaction. Daniels is known to frequent the Atlanta and Marietta areas.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are asking the public in the Marietta and the north Atlanta area for assistance in their search for a 21-year-old man charged with two counts of murder in a July 30 triple shooting in Savannah.

David Randy Daniels Jr. has been charged with shooting to death 18-year-old Dominique Bright and 15-year-old Syheem Spaulding after a drug transaction, according to a press release from the Marietta Police Department.

Daniels is also charged with aggravated assault for shooting a 15-year-old girl who was riding a bicycle nearby during the incident, according to the release.

Savannah Violent Crimes detectives suspect Daniels has left the Savannah area to avoid arrest, according to the release. Daniels is known to frequent the Atlanta and Marietta areas and has contacts in the Carolinas and Florida.

Daniels is described as a black man, about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if identified, according to the release.
