Skeletal Remains Found Near Shiloh Road Overpass
Cobb police said the remains were located along I-75 in Kennesaw on Wednesday morning.
Cobb County police are conducting a death investigation regarding skeletal remains that were discovered shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday along Interstate 75 near Shiloh Road in Kennesaw.
According to investigators, Cobb officers were dispatched to the wooded area along the interstate in response to a citizen reporting what he believed to be skeletal remains. The remains were located approximately 30 yards east of the interstate near the Shiloh Road overpass, police said.
The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting with positively identifying the remains.
