Suspect in Macy's Shoplifting Arrested

The suspect already had other outstanding warrants.

A Stockbridge man allegedly brought a wooden dolly into the Macy's at Town Center at Cobb, loaded $1,076 worth of furniture on the dolly and left the mall without paying for the items.

About 9:45 p.m. July 30, Justin Lee Shuler allegedly took the furniture to his truck and loaded it, according to an arrest warrant.

A Cobb police officer caught Shuler, but Shuler pulled away from the officer.

The officer was thrown to the ground and injured his right elbow and left hand, according to the warrant.

Shuler, who already had outstanding warrants, was arrested on one count each of theft by shoplifting and obstruction. He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
