Suspicious Death Now a Murder Case

The Cobb County Police Department was careful not to use that word all day.

About 7:45 a.m. today, officers went to 3591 Paul Samuel Rd. and found the body of a dead man lying in the carport of his home.

All day, one spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department said the agency was working a "suspicious death."

Tonight, another spokesman for the agency said the department's Crime Against Persons Unit was investigating a "murder."
