Teens Arrested in BB Gun Shooting

Three young men are accused of shooting out the windows of more than 30 cars in Kennesaw, Acworth and unincorporated Cobb.

arrested three people who allegedly shot out the windows of more than 30 cars with a BB gun Monday evening in several parking lots in Acworth, Kennesaw and unincorporated Cobb County.

Two of the men are teens, with the youngest being 17. The trio, 18-year-old Andrew Morgan of Acworth, 17-year-old Caleb Fields of Acworth, and 22-year-old Christopher Kellner of Douglasville, are charged with six counts of felony second-degree criminal damage to property. The youngest, Fields, also faces a marijuana possession charge.

More charges are pending against the three as more people report damage, according to the Acworth Police Department.

At least 31 incidents were reported in Acworth, Kennesaw and unincorporated Cobb, Acworth police spokesman Wayne Dennard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

One victim told Channel 2 that the driver side door window of his car was "shattered," along with the vehicles of seven others who parked outside of a gym on Cobb Parkway Monday afternoon.

The AJC reports that Fields was arrested at a Wal-Mart in Kennesaw, and the other two were arrested at Morgan’s home in Acworth.

A witness and video from surveillance cameras helped police catch the three, according to Channel 2.
