Chabad Rabbi Opens Commission Meeting

The Jewish center in Kennesaw is preparing for a big Passover celebration for people across West Cobb, Cherokee and Paulding.

Rabbi Zalman Charytan of the Chabad Jewish Center in Kennesaw's Town Center area opened the Tuesday night with an invocation pointing out the lessons to be drawn from the upcoming Passover holiday.

Charytan and his wife, Nechami, will play host to a community Passover seder, or ordered holiday meal, on the first night of Passover, Monday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chabad center at 1286 Tinderbox Lane. The eight-day holiday runs until nightfall April 26.
