Farmers Market Opens Tuesday

Fresh produce, herbs and other goods will be available every Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. now through October.

The annual Kennesaw Farmers Market will soon be ripe for the picking.

The market opens for business this year on Tuesday, May 1, at the soccer field parking lot, located at 2753 Watts Dr. in Kennesaw. The market will then be open every Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, through the end of October.

Sponsored by the Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority, the Farmers Market includes a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs grown by local farmers, as well as freshly baked breads, cakes and cookies, landscape plants and flowers, craft items, and other assorted goods.
