Kennesaw Hosts Worldwide Day of Play

officials are encouraging area families to get off the couch and over to on Saturday, Sept. 29, to participate in the city’s first-ever “Worldwide Day of Play” event.

Kids and parents can learn all about nutrition and physical fitness through fun and games, informative activity stations and interactive demonstrations.The local event, which is scheduled from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., is being held in support of an international pro-health initiative led by the Nickelodeon’s Television Networks which aims to get kids to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
