Kennesaw Open for Presidents Day

In local weather, the National Weather Service reports today will be sunny with a high near 55. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 35.

Presidents Day closures include Cobb schools, banks and post offices. But it's business as usual for Kennesaw State University, which is open for classes, and the City of Kennesaw. In other local government news, Mayor Mark Mathews will hold his first town-hall meeting of 2012 on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Ben Robertson Community Center. Mathews, along with City Council members and city staff, will provide an update on city news and programs and answer questions from constituents.
