Andrea Sneiderman has been charged with murder, insurance fraud and perjury in connection with the shooting death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.

The indictments were announced by the DeKalb County’s District Attorney Robert James on Thursday afternoon.

Fishermen Discover Body in the Chattahoochee River

Cobb County police are asking for the public’s help to identify a body two fly fishermen discovered in the Chattahoochee River near an Akers Mill apartment complex around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the case, as it’s believed to be a homicide.

Police describe the victim as a black male about 5’10” with numerous tattoos. Cobb County’s Public Information Officer Dana Pierce said the body is too badly decomposed to offer any other details about the victim’s features.

SACS to School Board: 'Work in a Spirit of Harmony and Cooperation'

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has found no cause for further action on a complaint filed by  board member Wanda Cagle Gray, who represents District 4.

But, the accrediting body for schools in Georgia and 10 other states recommended the school system take action to promote a functional and cohesive board focused on the best interests of students, according to a copy of the letter, which was published on BartowPolitics.com and is attached to this article.

Councilman Hall Pushing for 'Booting' Ordinance

Atlanta officials are in the process of creating an ordinance to strengthen the city's regulation of vehicle booting companies, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

The ordinance is being pushed by Councilman Kwanza Hall and would require parking lot operators to provide payment receipts, as well their contact information.
