Video: Swift-Cantrell Gets Boost

About 16,000 parks received votes in Coca-Cola's America Is Your Park contest. Swift-Cantrell was one of just four parks to receive a monetary award from the Coca-Cola's Live Positively Foundation.

During today's Worldwide Day of Play at Swift-Cantrell Park, Coca-Cola presented a that "will allow us to invest in exercise equipment along the trail much sooner than we might have otherwise," Kennesaw Mayor Mark Mathews said.

Wonderful day with all the families sharing a great time together. Quite are few asked more about the exercise equipment and were excited to know they could come out and use it before their run. Even more interesting is the number of schools looking to use it for extended training. AWESOME for Kennesaw to have been selected for the honor out of so many other Parks. Progress for Kennesaw families to enjoy. Pat yourselves on the back families, you made this great opportunity happen.

Great job Kennesaw Community coming together to work on the coca cola grant. Nice to see people working together to do something positive for the community.
