9th Annual Symposium on New Interpretations of the Civil War: '1862: The Path to Freedom.'

March 23-24, 2012 - Kennesaw, Ga. 9th Annual Symposium on New Interpretations of the Civil War: '1862: The Path to Freedom.' The Civil War Center at Kennesaw State University presents renowned Civil War historians Ken Noe, Wiley Sword, Jeff Wert, and Brian Wills on Saturday, March 23 at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the Social Sciences building. The various lectures will focus on events from 1862. An opening reception will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at the Southern Museum in Kennesaw. Please plan to attend these special events – free admission, and free parking available for Saturday's program in Kennesaw State's West Parking Deck, located on Campus Loop Drive.
