H William "Bill" Smith portrays Sergeant Major Henry William McGowan, a common soldier in an uncommon situation, to explain and demonstrate the weapons, accoutrements and clothing used during the American Civil War. A question and answer session will following the presentation; free admission and parking in the West Deck on Campus Loop
