Kennesaw Schools Ranked Among Best in Metro Area

Atlanta Magazine rated Harrison and Kennesaw Mountain among the top 50 metro area high schools.

Two Kennesaw-area high schools ranked among the top 50 best public high schools in the metro Atlanta area, according to a list released by Atlanta Magazine.

earned the No.12 spot while ranked 27th.

The magazine based the rankings on measures of college readiness, including SAT scores, graduation test scores, graduation rate, Advanced Placement testing, learning support and HOPE scholarship eligibility.

A total of 10 Cobb County schools made the list and ranked as follows: Walton, 2nd; Lassiter, 5th; Pope, 6th; Harrison, 12th; Wheeler, 19th; Kennesaw Mountain, 27th; Hillgrove, 31st; Kell, 32nd; Sprayberry, 46th; Allatoona, 47th.
